About Us
Daniel Kuberek.
Director, Open Gate Films.
Open Gate Films derives from vintage 35mm film cameras, where an “open gate” meant a strip of motion picture celluloid was receiving the maximum amount of information possible through a particular lens.
These days, modern high-end cinema cameras, like Arri Alexa and most RED cinema cameras have an "Open Gate" mode which records the full size of the sensor. The benefit of shooting open gate is that it allows for greater flexibility in post-production.
In a similar way, Open Gate Films is about using the maximum possibilities available - not only in creativity, but the complete approach of being there along every part of the production process to ensure you receive the highest quality possible, at a very competitive price.

Open Gate Films has a number of projects in development, including a feature film.
